Maxx New York's 'Saint Benedict' tote is fabulous marriage of three of my favorite things to see in a bag: it's handheld, cherry red and patent leather. Downtown details like monochromatic hardware and seaming detail make this yummy bag appropriate for work, a hot date or brunch with the girlies.

Not to mention, in a world where handbags keep getting more and more expensive, the price tag of $178 seems downright reasonable.
