I really must applaud the stylists that work on Ugly Betty (Thursdays, 8pm EST, ABC).
First, they turn adorable America Ferrara into...well, someone less than adorable, yet still charming. Next, they pair the shabby chic with the undeniably chic. Exhibit A? The Alan Mikli glasses that Betty rocks on every single episode. They have a certain nerdy je-ne-sais-quoi that dares you to pair them with a tie-neck silk blouse and a curve hugging pencil skirt to crawl your way across the floor to James Spader. But I digress.

OH MY GOODNESS, I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!! I was thinking about being her for Halloween this year, when she has the little bar thing across her shoulders. But I couldn't find an S&M store in Connecticut. LOL.
