My fashionista friends, it's time for me to come clean.
My name is eye4style and I'm a bootie hater. I know they are very on-trend this season, paired with leggings, skinny jeans and flowy dresses, but frankly, I find the entire proportion awkward. And it doesn't help that as a shorty (no, not a 'shortie', thank you very much), wearing ankle boots would visually chop my legs off at the ankle. But again...I digress.
If you're gonna do ankle boots, these ain't half bad.

I usually just don't like the booties either. Occasionally I can see a pair and think "she looks cute in them" but generally they either a. mess with the hem of the pants, b. make me look like an escapee from neverland (the peter pan one, not the one in CA), or c. look a little too Yul Brenner.
They keep trying to make their way into my closets though.
i like the idea of them - but i'm not sure i'd pull them off.
those pair are a good cheap pair to test the trend though.
