e4s: We love Madewell's relaxed yet chic attitude. Who's the girl that you have in mind when designing?
A girl that wants to look cool and has a casual approach to fashion, she is a girl who embraces individual style.
e4s: I realize this is probably like choosing a favorite child...but what's your favorite or most essential piece from the winter collection? How do you like to style said piece?
The metallic Lola dress is my absolutely favorite. I would wear it with our raw edge tee shirt underneath, a great pair of tights, and of course, a pair of Madewell boots.
e4s: Can you give us a sneak preview of Madewell's Spring collection in 5 words?
Denim, texture, color, individual, cool.
