Half the fun of any awards ceremony is seeing the red carpet arrivals. Last night's 2008 Emmy Awards were no different. While there were more than a few "Don'ts" in attendance, we'll stay positive and focus on the best of the best.
Easily my favorite look of the night was gorgeous Olivia Wilde of House. She rocked romantic Reem Acra and both the draping and sweetheart neckline of this dress are stunning.
Weeds star Mary Louise Parker wore turquoise Roberto Cavalli. The slinky silhouette flatters and the bold color really stood out - a gorgeous pop against her ivory skin and dark hair.
From certain angles, The Starter Wife Debra Messing's Monique Lhuillier gown looked a bit fussy. That said, if your dress has a lot happening, it's definitely best to stick to a neutral hue and black looks gorgeous with her red hair.

I love Olivia Wilde's dress too! What a beautiful cut! Others I liked included Hayden Panettierre. Marcia Cross's dress was hideous.
