Holiday 2008 - Carol's Daughter

Getting gorgeous has never been easier than it is this holiday season, particularly with the seasonal offerings from Brooklyn's own Carol's Daughter.

Along with gorgeous bath, body and hair sets including the Shea Souffle Delights & Shea Souffle Goodness moisturizer trios ($32 each) packaged in reusable makeup bags, the Recipe for Gorgeous Hair (Available in Tui or Khoret Amen, $43 each and best for curls), founder Lisa Price is also reintroducing four of her favorite fragrance oils in the Reminisce Fragrance Sampler ($36).  My fave of the bunch is the sweet but sexy Roses and Honey.

Perhaps the biggest story from Carol's Daughter this season is the brand's FIRST fine fragrance, dubbed Pearls ($45). I had a chance to sniff the perfume last Thursday and it's a GORGEOUS scent with notes of bergamot, lemon, anise, verbena, apricot, peach, jasmin, rose and violet leaves with a drydown of musk and vanilla. It's warm and sweet yet effervescent and frankly, smells a lot like how Violet candy SHOULD taste. It would be an understatement to call me obsessed with this one...
