Down to the Wire Gifting: Stylish Reads

One of the easiest ways I've found to knock several people off my Christmas list is to step into my fave book store. I can always find at least a few great gift options, suited to that person's taste and interests with a very affordable (under $20!) price tag. This holiday season is no diff. and above are a few of my favorite stylish reads - including one on my own wish list!

Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen's Influence is a worthy and interesting peek into the world of creativity and fashion. Chock full of gorgeous images and interviews with fashion icons and designers, it's an inspiring read for the style-obsessed on your list.

Tyler Florence recently released two books - Dinner at My Place and Stirring the Pot. An intimate look into Tyler's life, Dinner at My Place is packed with recipes and lush photography that aims to help you recreate his laid back but yum entertaining style. Meanwhile, Stirring the Pot is an excellent primer, a guide of tips and techniques for your home kitchen - along with 120 amazing recipes to put your new skills to good use. Either would make a fab gift for the cook in your life!

Fans of What Not to Wear will go crazy for Nick Arrojo's first book, Great Hair - Secrets to Looking Fabulous and Feeling Beautiful Every Day. Great Hair reveals Nick's best-kept styling secrets including how to understand your hair type (and use it to look your best).

Camilla Morton's A Year in High Heels is one of the chic-est gifts to give any girl on your list. It's an eclectic collection of how-to's, ideas and conversation starters in all things stylish. There are also a ton of guest writers that chime in on their own areas of expertise from Dita Von Teese (who shares 'How to Tease') to Anya Hindmarch (on 'How to Go Green'). A Year in High Heels is the kind of book she'll want to keep by her bedside and pick up nightly for a little stylish inspiration.

Last but by no means least is Vogue Covers: On Fashion's Front Page. The lavish, hardcover coffee table tome brings together nearly a century of Vogue covers, both illustrated and photographic. Hint -this is one I'm hoping will be under my tree!
