Why are tampons such a big deal, I've often wondered. And the folks at Kotex apparently found themselves wondering the same thing, when launching their colorful new line of feminine products, U by Kotex. Thus, a relatively genius and inherently viral campaign was born, designed to empower girls and women to take control of their health and bodies.
Below is one of my favorite ads in the new campaign and I urge you to play a small part yourself by signing their declaration to change the way that we communicate about our bodies as women.
For every person that signs the declaration online, U by Kotex will make a $1 donation to Girls For A Change, a national organization that empowers teen girls to make social change. Gotta love that!
