New York Life: Now Entering #Rangerstown

It's a truth universally acknowleged that on any average day, New York is a hell of a town. Make that day instead a GORGEOUS early summer evening and throw in our New York Rangers in the Stanley Cup finals FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 20 YEARS and frankly my friends, you've got pure magic.

That was last night, as a Game 1 Viewing Party & Fan Fest took over Bryant Park -  Rangers vs L.A. Kings (that East Coast - West Coast rivalry is live and real) projected live on a giant screen, and hockey-centric activities and merch galore. I may not have worn Rangers blue, but I was not above posing with a life size cut out of Henrik Lundqvist, peeps - go ahead and get a visual.

While the spirit of New York didn't quite drive us to a win last night, the series has just begun. Stay tuned to @NYRangers on Twitter for pending game 5 and game 7 viewing parties, to be announced - hockey fan or no, we're all New Yorkers and I'm hard pressed to think of a more fun (and free!) evening activity.
