Must Watch - The Duchess

There's little that I love more than a film that allows me to escape not only with the story but with the style. I recently hit a screening of The Duchess starring Keira Knightley and it's exactly that - a dishy flick that you can devour from minute one.

Personally, I was obsessed with Knightley's over-the-top dresses and perfect curls in The Duchess.  If you want to get a similar look from your locks, try the shampoos, conditioners and styling products from Bumble & Bumble's new Curl Conscious line - the Defining Creme banishes frizz and leaves curls defined (aproros, no?). Be sure to use a diffuser attachment on your hair dryer too!

So, what's The Duchess about?  Well, the Duchess of Devonshire, Georgiana Spencer was ravishing, glamorous and adored by an entire country back in her day. Determined to be a player in the wider affairs of the world, she proved that she could out-gamble, out-drink and outwit most of the aristocratic men who surrounded her. She helped usher in sweeping changes to England as a leader of the forward-thinking Whig Party. But even as her power and popularity grew, she was haunted by the fact that the only man in England she seemingly could not seduce was her very own husband, the Duke (played by Ralph Fiennes). And when she tried to find her own way to be true to her heart and loyal to her duty, the resulting controversies and convoluted liaisons would leave all of London talking.

I'm definitely seeing this - even though the last time I enjoyed Keira was in Bend it like Beckham :)
