Fashion news! Singer and natty dresser Scott Weiland is collaborating with designer Christopher Wicks of Rock & Roll Religion on a new contemporary men’s collection, dubbed Weiland for English Laundry.
The collection will debut at industry trade show Magic Las Vegas on February 17.
Weiland for English Laundry is said to derive inspiration from the rock decadence of the 1960’s, with Savile Row circa 1965 influences. Expect eclectic combinations of fabrics, patterns and color in an assortment of wovens, vests, t-shirts, pants, hats, ties and scarves. All fabrics are based on original vintage patterns circa 1965 through 1979 and have been reproduced for modern-day wear. Pants have a tailored narrow fit with flat fronts, and wovens feature bold chalk stripes, Prince of Wales plaids and tonic two-tone solids.
Retail price points for the Weiland for English Laundry collection will range from $40 - $120 and distribution is planned to better department and specialty stores, along with the English Laundry flagship store in Los Angeles.
