Every now and then, I think about how I would dress if I were a man. While I adore a guy who can do casual well (they are few and far between), I like to think that I'd be a suit guy. Ok, a total dandy. A Chuck Bass if you will. And of course, a big part of that look would be gorgeous bespoke suits.
For those not familiar, bespoke suits are custom, made to measure and rightfully expensive. When it comes to suits, you usually get what you pay for and bespoke is the Bentley of the bunch.
Until My.Suit came along.
My. Suit offers made to measure suits, starting at just $499. Located conveniently near Herald Square (1270 Broadway, at 33rd Street, to be exact), My.Suit lets guys choose from literally hundreds of fabrics (in various colors, weights, patterns, etc.), several silhouettes for both pants and jackets, and of course, countless details to create a suit that is positively PERFECT for them. And what's truly INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE is that the turnaround time from your initial appointment to your final fitting is a mere two weeks.
Best of all, the customer service at My.Suit is absolutely top-notch. Depending on your guy's "style comfort level" (i.e. How clear of a personal style does he actually have? Most guys = not much.), the sales staff can provide minimal guidance, serious hand holding or anywhere in between. We worked with Sales Manager Jim Hancock (seen in several pics below) who - aside from wearing the HELL out a suit himself- was able to give great expertise in both fit and style.
Take a gander through the gallery and you'll see my boyfriend's recent My.Suit experience from choosing fabrics (he went with a lightweight charcoal fabric) to the measuring process to choosing every little touch that makes the suit uniquely his (think kissing sleeve buttons that actually function, a pop of maroon lining and some truly eye-catching contrast stitch action.)
If you have any questions, be sure to leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer.
And of course, to make an appointment, call 212.594.0077 or visit www.mysuitny.com.

Awesome review! I love their suits. I recently bought three suits from them, and each one makes me excited when I put it on. Then again. I pretty much get excited anytime I put on a suit. I go to them from my standard suits (the suits I wear frequently) but they don't really meet my sometime opulent needs. For that I went to Tom Ford. Though I couldn't afford to that for long as his prices are astronomical. My friend referred my to another brand Surajo Bello, they offer everything from standard suits to more opulent styles but not as high as Tom Ford. But I own more suits from My.Suit then Tom Ford or Surajo Bello.
