Ugh, peeps. After weeks of miserable weather in the Big Ap, I've been completely uninspired to post winter OOTDs (as evidenced by the dearth on site). Today, finally, we had a bit of reprieve...warmer temps and even some sunshine, so I braved the brisk air to bare my look, which I've dubbed a 'study in contradictions.'
Let me 'splain. In my esteemed-by-very-few opinion, one of the simplest but most effective tenets of great style is the art of the juxtaposition. i.e. If you're wearing a classic uptown pump from say Manolo Blahnik, tear that 'ish down with a distressed skinny jean. OR if you're wearing a polished, nude chiffon blouse, as I am above, take it down a peg with a military-inspired cargo.
Head to toe:

- Loeffler Randall Nude Chiffon Pocket Blouse
- HUDSON Jeans Flap Pocket Cargo Skinny (gift)
