What you see above is a failed and therefore, sadly cropped Outfit of the Day photo, friends. But, as I'm oft forced to acknowledge, they (read: photos of me) can't all be winners - sometimes, the camera just doesn't cooperate. So, instead, let's focus on the positive. And by positive, I mean the amaze Ruthie Davis Pierced Platform Pumps that I snagged for just $30 at Beacon's Closet yesterday (originally...wait for it...$865).
These entirely ridiculous claret leather pumps walk a fine line. Namely the line between me WORKING A POLE (the staggering 5" platform heels leave few other viable career options), and me FALLING FACE FIRST ON WORKING A RUNWAY. For the record, I do NEITHER in my day to day life, but these shoes let me live out a wide variety of fantasies, and for that, I love them.
