Though all opinions are my own, this post was created in association with David's Bridal.
In the interest of full disclosure, I'm not really a "wedding girl". Meaning, unlike most women, I've never imagined the day, I don't have a venue in mind, I've never tried on a gown, I don't snip travel features from magazines and file under "honeymoon." However, there are two aspects of a wedding that I can really get down with - and they likely come as no surprise to this audience. Of course, I'm talking about the ring (and may I just say that the old adage "Good things come in small packages" DOES NOT APPLY TO DIAMONDS) and the dress!
And while you can find undeniably gorgeous gowns for mucho deniro at specialty boutiques like Kleinfeld's in New York, truthfully, I'll never understand why women choose to spend thousands on a dress that they'll wear just once (hopefully. It would be bad luck to wear it on the second go-around, right? KIDDING!) That's why I'm really into the idea of the new Two-in-One Gowns at David's Bridal. These simple wedding dresses and gowns literally transform with an easy peasy zip - taking an uber-classic (and AFFORDABLE!) gown to a disco-ready dress in a flash. Smart, huh?
Check out the two styles online here, or visit a David's Bridal store near you to sneak a peek in person.
Do tell, would you ever wear a transformer-style wedding gown?
