Five for Friday: Winter-Perfect Beauty

In an effort to better serve YOU, my valuable reader, I've decided to intro a new series here at e4s - namely, Five for Friday.  Each Friday (surprising, I know!), you can expect to see five (equally as surprising, I know) of my current faves from the world of beauty. First up?  Five essentials for winter-perfect beauty this December.

Few brands do color like Make Up For Ever does color, and those in need of COLOR (all caps required) will be served well to acquaint themselves with the brand's Aqua Cream collection ($22 each or even better, the Wild & Chic Aqua Cream Collection of 10, $175). These long-wearing, waterproof and in some cases, multi-use products deliver color that can range from subtle to dramatic, based on application. You'll want at least a few of these babies in your makeup bag this season for quick presto-changos as you transition from work wear to party-approp attire.

Julep's sweet little Nail Colors ($14 each) boast a powerful punch of color as well - and the BRIGHT, perfect, kelly green Emilie is festive yet unexpected for holiday.

If a week or two ago, you had said, "OH HEY DINA, YOU'RE GOING TO BE MADLY IN LOVE WITH SOME CETAPHIL BODY WASH SOON," I'd have been...surprised.  But just like their remarkably effective, gentle, no-frills facial cleanser, Cetaphil RestoraDerm Skin Restoring Body Wash ($11.99) goes above and beyond the call of duty, leaving skin silky smooth and blessedly unscented.

Carol's Daughter, TAKE ME AWAY! That's how that went, right? RIGHT? Maybe not. Either way, the dreamy Invincible Hair Set ($67) includes three essentials for any hair type - the decadently scented Monoi Repairing Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Mask. Love!

Dermalogica Age Smart Renewal Lip Complex ($26) is a very complicated name for a *very* simple product. But in this case, I mean "simple" in the very best way imaginable. This product is truly seasonless, and definitely ranks among my travel essentials, but the intense moisturization is a necessity as temps cool down.
