Happy Saturday, y'all! It was a gorge fall-like day in New York, and I started the morning at Midtown's Angelo David Salon, where Redken colorist David Stanko gave my "neglected" (okay, FINE, "pampered" by most standards) strands some much needed time, attention, color, gloss, the like with the finished product looking an awful lot like this (before I unceromiously tucked it under a new Eugenia Kim topper, clearly. SORRY, DAVID.):
I also met up with my pal Tamar of Fashion Binge this afternoon, and quickly put her to work in more ways than one - first, forcing her (I'm an AWFUL friend, I know) to accompany me to the Alexis Bittar sample sale, where I snagged some snazzy silver pyramid stud earrings for just $38, then later, introducing her to my kitties, and finally, INSISTING that she shoot my OO, seen above.
This OO is a little unusual for me in that it's embracing a definitively warmer palette than I usually rock (I lean towards grays, navys and of course, black). But for some reason, it felt just perfectly chill and comfy, yet moderately polished for a weekend afternoon. Admittedly, though, I learned today that a leopard print jean (however muted) is going to garner a SIGNIFICANT amount of attention on the street, ladies. In short, prepare yourselves for cat calls (I had to; I just couldn't help myself.) if you plan to tackle this trend.
Head to toe, here's what I wore:
- Eugenia Kim Annie Cashmere & Fur Equestrian Cap
- Ralph Lauren Aviator Sunglasses (similar here)
- Joie Keegan Cashmere Cowl Sweater (alternate color here)
- Rebecca Minkoff Mini Morning After Clutch in Fuschia
- Current Elliott The Stiletto in Camel Leopard
- Aldo bootie (similar here)
