Beyond the Litter Box: Beautiful Uses for Baking Soda

Arm & Hammer Baking Soda is one of those weirdly miraculous and truly multi-use products. I mean, YES, I use it to deodorize my kitties' litter box weekly AND to clean my coffee pot after one too many brews. But don't dismiss Baking Soda's beauty applications too.  One of my fave tricks? Try mixing a teaspoon or two into your favorite shampoo to create, instantly, a clarifying version. 

I keep the water-resistant shaker, seen above, in my shower and indulge weekly - as a bonus, it adds lift and volume naturally. Likewise, it's an easy and inexpensive exfoliating boost to your face or body wash. Baking Soda will run you between $2-3 in any drugstore - brighten on, ladies!
