I finally visited the Rent the Runway showroom in West SoHo this past week (a Flatiron store recently opened as well), as my friend Lisa tried on dress after glorious dress - Alberta Ferreti, Marchesa Voyage, Red Valentino! - for a series of work events. So, when an invitation for next week's semi-annual sample sale landed in my inbox, my calendar was promptly marked. While past events suggest that many of the dresses at the sample sale will show damage from wear, there will certainly be some diamonds in the rough. I'll be there, stocking up for party season - will you?
