OOTD: Almost SPRING!

Entirely Unexpected: Ann Taylor's Silk Ruffled Trench

For a long time, when I thought of lukewarm, mediocre style, I thought of Ann Taylor. But this season's "See Now, Wear Now" runway show, at the New York Public Library, showcased some amazingly stylish pieces by the brand's NEW designer and things are definitely looking up.

My must-have?

This delectable silk trench, which should be available soon in stores and online.

Rain, Rain, Go Away: Mackage Spring 2009 Trenches

A trench coat is a wardrobe essential, at least for this gal. I personally have two - a navy Uniqlo and a traditional khaki Banana Republic that was intended to satiate my urge for a custom Burberry. That desire hasn't quite gone away but I must say that these beautiful Mackage trenches for Spring are enough to distract.  They're the perfect marriage of traditional and edgy, which I just love.  To shop Mackage, visit www.mackage.com.
