I'm Kind of Obsessed with Curtis Kulig's New Jewelry Collection (and You Should Be Too)

To call me obsessed with artist Curtis Kulig's iconic "Love Me" campaign, incepted in 2005, would be an understatement. The simple, now famous call to action slash plea has appeared around the world in cities from New York to Los Angeles, Berlin to Istanbul. And while he's previously dabbled in collaborations with brands as diverse as Disironno Amaretto (how covetable are these Love Me bottles?) and Smashbox, he's never really had a collection to call his own. Until now, that is!

Meet Me + Mi. The love child of Kulig and LA-based jewelry designer Mimi Jakobson, Me + Mi takes the iconic elements of Love Me and interprets them anew in drippy, graffiti-style heart and love-themed baubles - rings, bracelets, pendants and cuffs. Prices are accessible, ranging from just $40 for stud earrings to $198 for heavier, more substantial pieces. I'm hard-pressed to think of a pun that doesn't play on love to accurately represent my feelings here, but rest assured, I'll be adding a piece or two to my personal collection.

Browse the gallery below, and to learn more or shop the collection, visit Me + Mi.

Plukka x The Glamourai: These Rings Will Change Your Life

My obsession with jewelry is boundless, kids. In fact, let's not even talk about all that I bought myself for my birthday, including Dannijo and Alex Woo. Suffice to say, the Plukka rings seen above were also in the mix. Created in collaboration with blogger Kelly Framel of The Glamourai, each is comprised of two delicate diamond bands connected by a fine 18k gold chain. Simply sexy, but with a subtle hint of bondage that this girl just can't resist.

Plukka offers a unique and distruptive pricing model, in that the more rings that are sold, the lower the price to all. Currently, The Glamourai ring is...er, ringing in at $665 per and while just one is lovely, I do love two (seen above) or even three worn on the same hand.

Learn more and shop Plukka's assortment of fine jewelry here, or enter their Pinterest "Pin Up Challenge: Summer Style" for your chance to win a ring. Happy pinning!

Object of My Obsession: Dominic Jones Knuckleduster

When I fall in LOVE with a jewelry designer, I fall HARD and designer Dominic Jones is the latest in a long line (see previous slash current obsessions: Subversive Jewelry, Pamela Love, Alexis Bittar, Made Her Think, Eddie Borgo, etc., etc.)

The edgy, London-based Brit crafts sculpturally sound jewelry with a MAJOR dose of punk rock attitude.

Take, for example, the 22 karat white gold plated Knuckleduster seen above. Look quickly and you might think it was a clever take on the Batman logo, but, oh HEY, look again and it's ACTUALLY the marriage of two sharp, animalistic claws. Obsessed.com accurately describes how I feel about this ring.

If you feel as I feel about Dominic Jones (marry me, Dominic), you're in luck. There's a SWEET assortment of his designs available at The Outnet now, for a staggering 65% off. Sizes are selling out fast though, so buy a ticket and board the train here.

Hit Me With Your Best Shot: BulletGirl Launches

As regular readers know, I demand a lot of my jewelry.  But I rely on it most of all to add a bit of toughness to my often otherwise classic looks.

So, my interest has been piqued by BulletGirl. This artful new jewelry collection - earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings are in the mix - is comprised of bullet blanks, married with cubic zirconia as well as gold, palladium and rhodium plating.

Rachel Roy + Estelle = Jewelry Love

Designer Rachel Roy and Brit pop singer Estelle have partnered this Spring on a limited edition jewelry collection for the Rachel Rachel Roy line.  As to be expected, I'm in lust with several pieces.

While my jewelry wardrobe needs no additions, I am eyeballing the entirely affordable ($40!) and justifiably chic Talon Ring above. It's the ideal marriage of glam and edge, so I'm really digging it.

Shop the full collection here (while supplies last!)

FTC Disclosure: Rachel Roy is a client (but I legit love this collection!)
