No matter how much I THINK I know about fashion, there's always so much more to learn. And one woman that I'd like to learn EVERYTHING from is the formidable Lori Goldstein.
I was lucky enough to be invited to her chic, homey Chelsea apartment last week to learn more about her and let me assure you that while you may not know Lori's name, you know her work.
This woman, this tiny POWERHOUSE of a woman, has styled every mega-celeb in the biz, including Demi Moore, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna and this other tiny POWERHOUSE of a woman that you may have heard of, Madonna. She's also served as an editorial and commercial stylist (frequently working with photographers Annie Liebovitz and Steven Meisel) and as a creative consultant to brands like Vera Wang and Carolina Herrera.
But despite wearing a Prada necklace that I'd murder small children for (I digress) and having left her mark on many of the most stylish women in the world, Lori insists that what she loves most of all is working with us common folk (to be clear, those are my words, not hers) and thus, her new collection LOGO Instant Chic was born.
