Earlier this year, fashion industry vet and creator of New York Fashion Week Fern Mallis launched a series of in-depth interviews with designers at the 92Y. Dubbed Fashion Icons, the first season saw conversations with the amazing Michael Kors (which I was lucky enough to attend), Tommy Hilfiger and OH GOD HOLD ME Tom Ford, among others.
The schedule for Fall '12 has just been released and along with Betsey Johnson and stylist/editor Polly Mellen, Mallis will be conversing with the inimitable Diane von Furstenberg on September 12 as well as Marc Jacobs on November 6. I'm confident that these two in particular will sell out fast (as did Tom Ford), so if you're interested, pull the trigger on tickets sooner rather than later.
