Harper’s Bazaar’s September issue includes a never before seen image of Karl Lagerfeld with his precious, Parisian feline, Choupette. Accompanying the snap is an appropriately cheeky interview with the Kaiser, in which he drops some never-before known facts on his pampered kitty, including:
- Choupette's taste is, unsurprisingly, discerning: "Her dishes are by Goyard. She has one for water, one for her little croquette, and one for her pâté. You have to serve everything, and she makes a choice."
- Choupette is definitive, and a non-verbal communicator: "...everything is done with the eyes. She knows exactly what she wants."
- Choupette is far too sophisticated for cat toys: "She plays with pieces of wood, pieces of paper, shopping bags. She loves shopping bags."
A woman after our own hearts.
