In My Cart: Farfetch Edition
If there's anything I love more than actually shopping, it's virtually shopping. Today's destination? Farfetch, a designer-rich and entirely international online marketplace for independent fashion boutiques. Farfetch handpicks boutique partners for their forward-thinking taste and unique viewpoint, making it a MOST tempting place to shop for both discovery, as well as designers you already know and love.
If given an unlimited budget (a girl can dream, yah?), here's what's in my cart:
- Leather shorts are a high priority for me at the moment, but in lieu of the perfect pair, I'd gladly take this gorgeous pair of navy suede Kahlo Haight Street Shorts ($320), shipped from LA boutique Satine.
- I'm all about handbags this season, and Alexander Wang's new Rockie ($784) is tops on the list. I love the texture, color - a screaming lipstick red! - and most of all, the compact size.
- Ann Demeulemeester stays impeccably true to her design vision season after season, and while I could build a wardrobe around her edgy basics, I'd most love a pair of her seasonless Open Toe Boots ($1,545), shipped from another West Coast gem: H. Lorenzo.
- The Wayfarer silhouette is a classic, and with good reason. But with every hipster in Williamsburg in classic Ray Bans, I feel the need to upgrade, ideally to this entirely modern iteration by The Row for Linda Farrow ($417).
Shop more of the world's best boutiques at Farfetch.
While all wishes, dreams and desires expressed are my own, this post was produced in association with Farfetch.

OOTD: Feeling Kick-y
This morning, I woke up determined to show my legs to the world (I've got them. Really. I swear. I just wear pants everyday like a man.). On went a lovely navy Rachel Pally dress, and a sky high wedge (but of course) but when I stepped outside, I felt compelled to turn right back around and put on something that felt a little less committal for a Friday (and a dreary, rainy Friday at that). Off went the Rachel Pally (it was abandoned like a jersey carcass on my bedroom floor, if we're being honest), and on went my go-to during Spring/Summer months, the classic white jean.
I also reached into the depths of my closet and pulled out the lovely Alexander Wang Rocco bag, which I haven't worn in about a year. While it's a bit of a bear to carry (handheld or crook of elbow only, and quite heavy), it's a lovely light-medium gray and the perfect neutral to tone down a bright top like the silk chiffon Tibi tunic seen above.
Head to toe, here's what I've got on:
- Ray-Ban Wayfarers
- Tibi Embellished Tunic via Beacon's Closet
- Yummie Tummie Strappy Tank
- Seven for All Mankind Second Skin Legging Jean in Clean White
- Aldo for Julian Louie Sobeslava Wedge
- Lia Sophia Cuff & Swarovski Intervale Jet Bangle
- Alexander Wang Rocco Mini Duffle Bag (Black available here)

OOTD: The Debut of My Alexander Wang Rocco
In a perfect world, every bag would be the Alexander Wang Rocco.
Well made, with aggressive hardware and deliciously supple leather cut to look like velvet (you can smell the dead animal from six feet away), it's recently risen the ranks to be among my very favorites. So, today, I kept things uber simple and let the bag be the star.
Head to toe, and shopping for jam at Le Pain Quotidien:
- Tom Ford Jennifer Sunglasses in Black
- Nine West Scarf (Gift, no longer available)
- American Apparel Acid Wash Jersey Deep V-Neck T in Black
- Gap Cropped Skinny Jeans in White Wash
- Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent Mason Buckle Wedge
- Alexander Wang Rocco Mini Duffel in Cut Velvet Leather (Smoke)
