Luxe Must: Ryan Storer Ear Cuff

Ear cuffs have been on my radar for a few seasons now, thanks to this entirely Elven one shown on Rodarte's runway for Spring '13. In person though, Rodarte's felt a little too Lord of the Rings, and not quite enough edgy, downtown glam for my tastes. That's where Australian designer/industry darling Ryan Storer comes in. His elaborate and ornate Ear Cuffs, truly the most gorgeous I've seen, simply drip glamour, and I love that they're sold complete with a delicate, complementary stud for the alternate side.

Much like Mansur Gavriel's much loved Bucket Bags, Ryan Storer's Ear Cuffs are a hot commodity at the moment. Stocked at just a few premium retailers globally, you can order online at Browns Fashion (where the collection was freshly restocked today), or keep a close eye on Net-a-Porter for new arrivals - and if you're willing to wait, ordering directly from Ryan Storer's e-shop in Australia will save you between 10-20% off the prices seen at retailers. On site, cuffs range between $223 and $780 Australian (a favorable conversion for Americans).

p.s. For an inexpensive fix, shop Baublebar's small assortment of ear cuffs, ranging between $28-$32, here (I'm sad to say that my favorites are out of stock!)

My current Marilyn Minter-inspired CalGel manicure, Posed on Saturday, has garnered over 800 Likes and 20+ comments to date - wowsa!

Between Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr, it's safe to say that I'm a woman who loves to SHARE. In short, I'm obsessed - and you should be too.

I've partnered with Pose this week to offer my followers an amazing little treat - a $150 gift card to my FAVORITE destination for online shopping, and of course, Pose inspiration - Net-a-Porter. Entering to win is easy-peasy - check out my recent Poses here, create a Pose account (online or on your mobile) and Follow me on Pose!

Fashion Bucket List: Markus Lupfer Lips Sweater

Every now and then, I have what I fondly describe as...a FASHION BLACKOUT. It happens only when I'm completely consumed by an item...all goes dark and I wake up moments later, swathed in fine fabric and holding a receipt for an amount that PAINS me.

Something like that just happened in my apartment, ironically enough, as I drunkenly browsed Net-a-Porter's site (a horrible idea, why do I do this?) and stumbled upon designer Markus Lupfer's cheeky knits, including a jumper with BEDAZZLED PARROTS ($500) and more importantly, the Smacker sequined merino wool sweater ($455) seen above. With 6 weeks of winter left - THANKS, GROUNDHOG FRIEND - how can a a girl resist an irreverant knit, I ask? This girl, happily, cannot.

Do you ever drunk shop?  If so, what's been your damage, Heather? Share it all in the comments.

Fashion Bucket List: Lanvin Snake-Print Wedge Sandal

While most podiatrists advise against platforms and wedge heels (WHATEVER), I consider them to be my fashion savior. After all, a woman needs height, but a woman ALSO has things to see, places to be, people to do, etc. (I got that right, didn't I?) And surprisingly enough, many of the aforementioned action items require walking. Perhaps even at a prompt pace. Pesky, I know. But this is where the wedges come in - you get the height of a more traditional heel, but the walkability of a flat.

Spring's most desirable wedge is without a doubt these spectacular Lanvin snake-print, peep-toe canvas wedges. As I think we all know, Alber does it all right, and with a staggering 6 inches of lift, these beauties bring me an entirely new perspective on life - more specifically, the perspective of a 5'8" person. AWESOME.

Of course, beauty has its price...and in this case, it's $1,120. Ouch, right? I know, I know. But just in case you're expecting a windfall of dough, the Lanvin Snake-Print Wedge Sandal is available online at the purveyor of all things beautiful, Net-A-Porter.

Holiday, To Give and To Receive: Net-a-Porter's Ultimate Shoe Subscription

Forget Shoedazzle. This holiday season, (online purveyor of all things beautiful) Net-a-Porter has introduced the ULTIMATE gift for any shoe-obsessed woman, dubbed (appropriately enough) The Ultimate Shoe Subscription.

Delivered once per month will be an exquisite pair of designer shoes of the gift recipient's choosing -think Christian Louboutin, Lanvin, Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen, among countless other choices - as well as 1-on-1 styling advice from the NAP team of fashion advisors, the chance to pre-reserve your fave styles, and express shipping (undoubtedly in Net-a-Porter's FLAWLESS gift packaging.)

You know that my perception is skewed when I say that the The Ultimate Shoe Subscription is a bargain at any price, though THE price is $10,000.  If you'd like to send a not-so-discreet hint to someone this holiday season, learn more here!

Designer Collaborations Gone Bad: FitFlop & Anna Sui

Designer Anna Sui has teamed up with FitFlop this season and the result is the Shakoha ($195), seen above.

While I have no doubt that this winter boot is both toasty and comfortable, the aesthetics are a bit questionable as far as I'm concerned.

The Shakoha will be a Net-a-Porter exclusive.

What do you think? Would you rock this boot?

Queen of Hearts with Alexander McQueen

I'm not sure if I'm up to the challenge of 5 inch heels but McQueen's black patent leather pumps are simply begging to be worn this Valentine's Day, thanks to the heart-shaped peep-toe and neon pink sole.
